Prayer
It all starts with prayer! Jesus often took time away so He could be alone with His Father in prayer. He knew how important it was to talk to God about people, before He talked to people about God… and the same is true for us. When we start by praying for the people we are seeking to reach with the Gospel, it prepares their hearts to hear the good news of Jesus.

2B1 is Word of Life’s 30-day prayer strategy to energise youth groups to love the Lord and live righteously, ignite a passion and urgency to reach lost friends, and ask the Lord for revival in lives, churches, communities and the nation.
Care
Jesus also modelled how important it is to care for people’s needs. Jesus often healed the sick, fed the hungry and helped the hurting. He cared for the whole person, not just their spiritual needs. In the same way, we must love those we are trying to reach. We do this by listening to them and caring for them. They are not projects, they’re people!

Share: Who is your one?
After prayer and care, we must lovingly share the Gospel message clearly and confidently. When we invite someone to put their faith in Christ, we are inviting them to make the biggest and best decision of their entire lives. A restored relationship with God is the absolute best news on the planet, so don’t be afraid to ask them to put their trust in Jesus!

The testimony challenge
- Step 1: Film a two-minute video of your testimony on your phone: your life before Jesus, how you met Jesus, and your life with Jesus. Begin with “I want to SHINE my light so bright by sharing my two-minute testimony,” and end with an invitation to follow Jesus.
- Step 2: Share the video on your social media and send it to your friends.
- Step 3: Challenge five or more friends to do the same. Tag #wolShineTestimony.
